SBI to raise Rs 15,000 cr

 State Bank of India is planning to raise  Rs15,000 crore in the next financial year to shore up capital adequacy.  The board approval is in place in this regard.The funds will be raised through, follow-on public offering , rights offering, overseas placement and employee stock options.

All 5 subsidiaries banks will be merged to SBI from 1st April, this year.
